| I am 73 years old and am entering my 53rd year in hot rodding and drag racing! I started in 1961 after Viet Nam era service in the U.S.Navy! I have tried all kinds of motorsports except stock car racing! M/P cars,Gassers,AA/FD,nitro nitrous 8 second drag bikes,flat track,indoor and out door! Motocross and others! I found this sight about 10 years ago and have had a great experience through the years with now almost 1500 friends! I have made personal friends with some of these people! This sight is my life line through the harsh winters and keeps me in touch with all my friends racing through the racing season! I have RJ friends from all over the world! What a treat and the best part is its all free! Yes free and free things these days are a rare commodity! I thank the staff at RJ and have enjoyed every minute of my time on here! Thank you so much for this and the ole "Hoot" still has many 1/4 miles to run with our dragster and my 1941 Ford pro touring truck! Thanks to the staff for a job well done! | Today RJ has made me a happy racer and FORD MUSTANG restorer since I not only found one TRW 2249-030 piston but 9 and 8 with modified rods. My ad was answered quickly.Amazing!! I have been searching for several years. Meet a nice machinist and reasonable. Thank you all. Another rare find was requested by Shelby customer out of Houston,TX. restoring Hertz for a special k car/Shelby C4 trans. My chances of finding it were NONE in my long opinion but just goes to show; you have to hunt and ask-ask again. I responded to request on SAAC ad for BBF C6 cast t/hsg. and happen to ask for rare C4. It came from Canada and is going to Houston soon. What I am saying is if you research and hunt enough; it will usually be found with reasonable prices. I am not talking about high pricers; there are still people out there like me that will help others. Hertz owner and I both saved money and found help. If you e-m me to find hard-to-find items and will commit sincerely to cause;I will spend lots of time hunting.You see I am a treasure hunter and hunting is the challenge. |

| I found my 1968 biscayne on here about a little over a year ago,decent price for a decent car,I have been cruising and tinkering on the car ever since I brought her home ,get a lot of thumbs up at stop lights.even though I found a car already I still like going on this site and looking at all the cool cars on here |
