2000 Freightliner FL60 Cabriolet Sportliner w/4-Car Trailer
This 2000 Freightliner FL60 Cabriolet Sportliner was built in November 1999. Finished in white over a light tan fabric interior, the truck is powered by a Caterpillar 7.2-liter turbodiesel inline-six paired with an Eaton Fuller six-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a diamond-plate aluminum flatbed, single rear axle, and a gooseneck coupling, as well as air conditioning, a pull-out couch, and storage cabinets. The accompanying 45-foot Pace American aluminum and steel high-top gooseneck trailer features three axles and a Stinger four-post lift with space for four vehicles. This Freightliner hauler is now being offered by the seller in CT with owner’s manuals, service records, and clean CT titles for both the truck and trailer.
The truck is finished in white and features a two-door cab with a sleeper extension. Equipment includes HID headlights and clearance lights, two air horns mounted atop the roof, grab handles, diamond-plate side steps with puddle lights, and twin toolboxes mounted under the cab.
The Western-style bed is equipped with diamond-plate aluminum trim on the floor and rear bumper, along with dual aluminum belly cabinets with insulated doors. Towing equipment includes a gooseneck coupling and a rear-mounted receiver hitch, and the truck is equipped with air brakes. Recent maintenance reported by the seller included a brake service with the installation of a replacement PAC brake and front rotors.
The cabin features twin power-adjustable captain’s chairs upholstered in light tan fabric with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include air conditioning, an overhead console with a JVC CD stereo, a wood center console, Maxon two-way radio, and a push-button gear selector. Scratches and areas of wear on the dashboard can be seen in the gallery below.
A black leather-wrapped two-spoke steering wheel frames an instrument panel that houses toggle switches for vehicle functions, as well as an 85-mph speedometer, a 3k-rpm tachometer, and a six-digit mechanical odometer that shows just over 154k miles,. The instrument bezel shows signs of cracking.
The rear of the cabin features a bench seat that folds into a bed, along with overhead reading lamps, window blinds, and wood storage cabinets.
The Caterpillar 3126 7.2-liter turbodiesel inline-six was factory-rated at 300 horsepower, which is sent to the rear wheels through an Eaton Fuller six-speed automatic transmission.
The included 45-foot Pace American aluminum high-top gooseneck trailer is finished in white and features aluminum panels over a steel frame, along with triple rear axles, two storage compartments, and a fold-out rear liftgate.
