THIS...is a Chevrolet Camaro SCCA GT1 race car!
This Chevrolet Camaro is a tube-frame Speedway chassis race car built for participation in SCCA GT1 racing. The 358 V8 produces 670hp and is paired with a Jerico 4-speed transmission and a Winters 9" quick change rear-end. Built in 1989, at some point in the car's career, it has been re-bodied to more closely look like a fourth-gen F-Body. Recent maintenance included updates to the braking system, new master cylinders, and ignition system, along with fabricating and rewiring the dash. The car has been raced most recently with SVRA at Sebring in 2020 (2:12 lap) and Linerock in 2021 (0:56 lap) and there is plenty more in the car! It's FAST! Annual SVRA 2022 Tech Sticker just expired. The motor was freshly rebuilt by Carlquist Competition Engines in 2022 and includes a Dyno sheet. Several spares will accompany the car including two sets of wheels, many sets of tires (some qualifying only laps, and a spare aluminum race seat. If you are interested in the car's SCCA Nationals races there is a lot of documentation and setup information from each race it entered during the 2000s in the South East.
