The year was 1964, it wasnt about fuel economy or hybrids, it was about class, style and above all horse power. It was about piling the family in the car, top down going to the drivein to see a movie or going to the local diner and enjoying burgers and shakes. those were the days when cars were built to last and had the ability to drag race on saturday and drive to church on Sunday and in doing so they have become legends, and desirable classics.
This car was born with a 352CI engine, but knowing that horse power is an important factor a 390ci / 330HP engine was transplanted into it.
The car is a beautiful Carolina blue with a newer dark blue convertible top, the interior is nicely done and the chrome and glass are in great shape.
I would not hesitate driving this car to a local cruise in or even a classic car show..they just dont make cars like this any more and the ones that are still around arent normally left in stock condition..so take a drive down Memory Lane and enjoy life.
