Rare vehicle and a head-turner whether you are at the drag strip, car show, or just cruising it. A 1972 Chevy LUV pickup was what we started with and ended up with a serious machine in a small package. Everything from the front bumper all the way to the back end has been either updated / fabricated / or altered during the build. Front end has been lengthened to accommodate the BBC powerplant, roof line has been chopped and windshield shaved for a sleeker look, and the truck bed has been shortened and custom wheel tubs made to complete the Pro Street look and accommodate a massive 17 1/2" wide drag radial. Inside the truck we installed a full roll cage that is certified for 8.50s, fabricated a custom gauge panel to house Autometer gauges, and installed a line lock kit. Hurst quarter stick shifter with reverse lock-out completes the driver's area. Tried to keep the rest of the interior as stock as possible by keeping the bench seat, dash, steering wheel, and factory gauges. Rear suspension is a 4 link setup attached to a Ford 9" Rear End with a 4.56 gear ratio. In between lies a Turbo 400 3 speed. This truck can and will LAUNCH HARD!
